Emerging Leadership Circles

We bring together small groups of emerging leaders to build skills and learn from each other.

PROCESS

We know that the demands on emerging leaders are unique, and that so often folks are tasked with leadership responsibilities without the necessary supports for their development. Leading projects and people requires a whole new set of skills, habits, and practices.

We bring together small groups of emerging leaders, both within organizations and across organizations, for a series of sessions focused on developing deeply resonant, connected leadership skills in new leaders. The cohort model facilitates learning, and we create space for participants to experiment, explore, and build community as they learn.

Emerging Leadership Circles meet monthly for a year, with a 2-hour long retreat to begin the experience and form the group, and a lightly facilitated group chat space between sessions.

FEES

Please reach out to discuss fees for Emerging Leadership Circles, as the pricing ranges depending on whether the group is internal to an organization or across organizations.

Please note that we view this experience as a professional development opportunity, and as such we encourage our clients to access existing PD funds to support this work. We are deeply committed to supporting new leaders in the social impact space; as such we offer sliding scale pricing for folks paying out of pocket.

Stacy has been a wonderful... coach. She has helped me feel more confident in myself and my skills in the work place. She has also helped me be able to communicate and express not only my needs, but also my wants and emotions, in a way that matches with my personal communication style and has made a difference in being able to self-advocate at work. These coaching sessions have helped me become a better team member to my coworkers by not shying away from projects or sharing ideas, and has helped me feel better about what I can bring to the table by understanding my strengths and growth areas.

I worked with Jenna during a critical and transitional time in my career. Jenna has been able to create space for me, as a mother with a full-time career, to: figure out my career goals, understand how to connect them with my current role, and be able to translate it into action to better advocate for myself. She sees the whole person, which allowed for meaningful conversations which equated to better outcomes for me personally and professionally. She creates power in the spaces of doubt. As a mother herself, she has beautifully shared in my journey to owning my story and feeling empowered as a professional.

Working with Stacy was so helpful to me in my first year at PPFA. She really cultivated a space where I felt like I could be open and honest about my work and the challenges I was having. She was great about listening as well as offering advice and tangible steps I could take... I feel like I have so many new tools and ways to think about what I want out of my professional career and my overall time at PPFA.

Working with Stacy was invaluable to me as someone who started at PPFA during the pandemic. Having an advocate to go to who knew the organization well helped me learn how to navigate PPFA in a way I would not have been able to figure out on my own virtually working from home. It has been incredibly helpful for me to have someone to talk to about navigating the workplace during these odd times. Thinking about different strategies for projects that are new to me. Learning how to best communicate with colleagues and bosses. And just generally having someone in my support network at the office that I can speak openly with about how my personal life and professional life merge.
