Team Coaching & Facilitation

We create customized team experiences working alongside you and your team to build the most impactful scope possible.

PROCESS

We create customized team experiences; to do so we work alongside you and your team to build the most impactful scope possible. We engage in this process with the belief that change looks different for every team, and we don’t presume that a prescriptive approach is the way forward. Our work always begins with a discovery phase that is critical; it provides us with an opportunity to understand your team, and how each of you perceives the team’s functioning. It also lets you get to know us a little better. This phase culminates in a project kickoff with the full group before diving into your customized process together.

When we work with teams in simultaneous coaching and consulting spaces we focus on challenging and supporting both the individuals and the group in its interactions. We maintain a firm grasp of the ethical and practical dangers of working with a group and the individuals in it. We are aware of the consequences of being overly identified with one person, or with any particular “side” to an issue. We bring an ability to read the room for the dynamics at play, and raise the productive elements to the surface for conscious consideration. Some of the work we’ve led teams through includes:

  • Building Resonance and Resonant Leadership

  • Non-Violent Communication Strategies

  • Giving and Receiving Feedback to Build Connection

  • Exploring and Building Psychological Safety at Work

FEES

Our fee structure for team experiences ranges, depending on the size of your team and the work you’d like to do together. A full Discovery Phase engagement for a team of 15, including 1:1 interviews, a team climate inventory, group dynamics observations, and a group kickoff session starts at $7,000. Subsequent group sessions start at $3,000 for planning, 2 hours of facilitation, debriefs, and follow-up.

The WBT team (Jenna, Stacy, Nicole, and Gangotri) helped our leadership team to individually and collectively identify actionable steps to improve our communication and work together. Their facilitation enabled us to gain insight into long-standing group dynamics so that we could build on areas of strength while shifting patterns that no longer served us. Their unique combination of 1-on-1 and group coaching produced noticeable changes in a short period of time.

Hyperakt embarked on a journey to interrogate the influence (or lack thereof) of race in design. At the time, the design industry was sorely behind in tackling the elephant in the room - that designers were largely homogenous (i.e. white) and their implicit (sometimes explicit) biases were creeping into our “social impact” creative work in sometimes innocuous and sometimes toxic ways.

Women’s Brain Trust worked with Hyperakt on a series of conversations at the intersection of diversity & inclusion and design. WBT made space for all voices — the loud ones, the quiet ones, the hesitant ones, and the confident ones. They asked probing questions. Acting as both an invisible GPS and a set of guardrails, they provided firm direction when we needed it and melted into the background when the words found their own momentum.

Because of the powerful and productive conversation space WBT created for our team, Hyperakt was able to find the internal alignment and courage to create better diversity & inclusion policies for hiring, projects, and client relations. Our work - both internally and externally - has changed for the better.
